Welcome from the President

Hello Everyone

Wow!  We are moving towards the end of our Newcomers Year.  There have been so many great activities that were planned and implemented this year.   In addition, this has been a very active year for generating new membership.

I want to extend a very grateful thank you to the board—the group is a wonderful bunch of folks who have worked so hard this year to manage the club/events/groups and get the newsletter out!!

There are some great activities in the month of June, before we take a break for the summer.  (We will start up again with activities in September).

Beer Tasting   Date:  June 12
Ladies Night Out—Glory   Date:  June 17
Annual Lowell Spinners Baseball Game   Date:  August 14

In addition, please note a new activity group has been formed—The Friendship Circle.  This new group will be comprised of members who will make/purchase dinners and deliver them.  The group is a “helping hand” for families experiencing illnesses, surgeries, births, etc.  Please consider joining.

Lastly, as the year closes, so does my tenure as the president.  I have met and worked with so many great people—I truly had a great year!

I want to announce our new President—Kristen Ringler (our current membership director).  Kristen comes with a wealth of newcomers experience, enthusiasm and great ideas.  Please congratulate her.  The club is in outstanding hands!!!  Our new Membership Director is Colleen Ayres.  Please welcome her to the new role.
